Our extensive range of solenoid-controlled safety interlock switches have been designed to provide robust position and lock detection, keeping guard closed until the hazard has been removed. Movable guards like hinged gates, sliding gates, flaps, or covers are common in nearly every application. When there are risks of dangerous overrun movements, a safety locking device with effective manipulation protection, compliant with EN ISO 14119, is essential.

Designed to fit to the leading edge of sliding, hinged or removable machine guards, they provide positively operated switching contacts for both the actuator position and solenoid status. This provides reliable protection against hazardous machine movements due to monitoring of safe interlocking and safeguard locking.

The dual tongue entry point features our highly reliable anti-tamper cam system that cannot be easily defeated. The head can be rotated to provide additional actuation angles (up to 8 on certain models).

Depending on the risk assessment for the application, they can be used independently to provide positively operated contacts to IEC60947-5-1. Additionally, they can be used in combination with any dual channel safety monitoring relays to provide up to PLe Category 4 to ISO13849-1 or SIL3 EN62061.
